The Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America is a diverse, multi-generational community of conservationists, educators, youth leaders, scientists, and artists. From restoring fens to hosting gallery shows, our members, spanning ages 14 to 80, bring together expertise in environmental science, public service, education, law, and the arts to protect and celebrate the Minnesota River. Our board members are elected by the membership to staggered three-year terms, ensuring accountability, fresh perspectives, and broad community representation that reflects the values and priorities of the people who actively care for the river and its resources.
