The Minnesota Valley Chapter House has been a resource for the environmental community since 1962. Hosting regular board meetings and events for multiple environmental organizations. It also serves as the home base for environmental and conservation service projects.
All Chapter members can schedule the use of the Chapter House for no charge! It is a benefit of membership. We encourage you to host your book group surrounded by the amazing art in the Kouba Gallery. Take advantage of our state-of-the-art conferencing equipment to host a board meeting. Host a board or staff retreat in the sanctuary of the Minnesota River Wildlife Refugee.
All we ask is that you request the use of the Chapter House and complete a use agreement.
All are welcome to use the IWLA property, trails, and even our Chapter House. To help keep the property around in good condition for future generations, we maintain a list of basic guidelines. We ask that all visitors to our space, especially those that are holding an event on the property or in the house review the Property Use Guidelines.
Since October 2022, Joseph Barisonzi has been serving as the Caretaker for the Minnesota Valley Chapter House. Joseph is very involved in the Green Crew, our Chapter, and the IWLA Division.
The Stewardship Committee is charged with developing and implementing strategies to improve the sustainability of the Chapter House and our property.
